Ingredients
Scale
- 2 lbs Chicken Wings (wingettes and drumettes)
- 1 tsp Paprika
- 1 tsp Garlic Powder
- 1 tsp Onion Powder
- 1/4 tsp Cayenne Pepper
- 1 tsp Dried Parsley
- 1 tsp Salt
- 1/4 cup Cornstarch
- 1/4 cup All-Purpose Flour
- 1 tsp Baking Powder
- 3 quarts High Smoke Point Oil (vegetable, canola, or peanut oil)
Instructions
- Pat the chicken wings dry with paper towels to remove excess moisture.
- In a large bowl, mix together the flour, cornstarch, baking powder, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, cayenne pepper, dried parsley, and salt.
- Add the wings to the flour mixture and toss until well-coated. Shake off any excess flour.
- Heat the oil in a deep pan to 350°F (175°C). Fry the wings in batches, ensuring the oil stays at the right temperature.
- Fry for 8-10 minutes or until the wings reach an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).
- Drain the wings on a wire rack or paper towels to remove excess oil.
- Serve with your favorite dipping sauce or seasoning for extra flavor.
Notes
- For a healthier option, bake the wings at 400°F for 45 minutes, flipping occasionally.
- Customize the flavors by adding grated Parmesan cheese, buffalo sauce, or your preferred herbs.
