  • Total Time: 25 minutes
  • Yield: 8 servings 1x

Ingredients

Scale

For the Filling:

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 medium onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp mustard (optional)
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

For the Dough:

  • 1 can refrigerated biscuit dough

For the Garlic Parmesan Topping:

  • 3 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tbsp parsley, chopped (optional)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Beef Filling:
    • Heat a skillet over medium heat and cook the ground beef until browned, breaking it apart with a spatula.
    • Add the onion and garlic. Cook for 3–4 minutes until the onion is translucent.
    • Stir in Worcestershire sauce, mustard (optional), salt, and pepper. Cook for another 1–2 minutes. Remove from heat and let cool.
    • Mix in the shredded cheese.
  2. Assemble the Bombs:
    • Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
    • Flatten each biscuit round with your hands or a rolling pin.
    • Place 1–2 tablespoons of the filling in the center of each dough round.
    • Fold the dough over the filling, pinching the edges to seal. Roll gently to form a smooth ball.
  3. Add the Garlic Parmesan Topping:
    • Mix melted butter, minced garlic, and Parmesan cheese in a small bowl.
    • Place the bombs seam-side down on the baking sheet.
    • Brush generously with the garlic Parmesan mixture.
  4. Bake:
    • Bake for 12–15 minutes, or until golden brown.
    • Sprinkle with parsley (optional) and let cool for 5 minutes before serving.

Notes

  • For a smoky flavor, add crumbled bacon to the filling.
  • For a spicy kick, include cayenne pepper or diced jalapeños.
  • Use ground turkey or plant-based meat for variations.
  • These bombs can be prepared ahead or frozen before baking.
