Ingredients
Scale
- 6 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy whipping cream
- 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
- Pinch of salt
- Black pepper to taste
Instructions
- Melt Butter & Sauté Garlic: In a medium saucepan over medium heat, melt butter. Add minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
- Add Cream & Simmer: Slowly add 1 cup of heavy whipping cream while whisking. Bring to a gentle simmer and cook for 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until thickened.
- Incorporate Cheese: Remove from heat and add 1 cup of freshly grated Parmesan cheese. Season with a pinch of salt and black pepper, and whisk until smooth and creamy.
- Serve: Toss with your favorite pasta, shrimp, chicken, or veggies, and enjoy!
Notes
- Storage: Refrigerate leftovers for up to 5 days. Reheat on medium heat, adding a little milk, broth, or water to thin it out if needed.
- Freezing: Not recommended, as Alfredo sauce can become grainy when thawed.
