Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan.
- Melt chocolate chips and butter in a microwave or double boiler. Let cool slightly.
- Whisk in eggs and vanilla extract.
- In a separate bowl, mix flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
- Gradually fold dry ingredients into the wet mixture. Avoid overmixing.
- Pour batter into the loaf pan and bake for 45-55 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Let cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack.
- (Optional) Drizzle melted dark chocolate over the cooled bread for an extra fudgy topping.
